WENDY'S BIO

I have been working as a stylist in the Bay Area for 25 years, and love what I do, because it allows me to be creative, and to get to know a variety of people. I value the relationships that have been built over the years with my clients.

I've had the opportunity to take classes and workshops with many great companies, including Matrix, Redken, Goldwell, Bumble & Bumble, and The Hairpolice.

I enjoy all aspects of creating hairstyles, but I particularly love to do color and extensions. My specialty is synthetic and human hair extensions, synthetic dreadlocks, and dread perms. With human and synthetic extensions I can add length or increase volume, or add in highlights; either natural or outrageous.

I am fond of doing fun and funky colors and cuts yet I also enjoy doing more natural or conservative looks. My personal style is more alternative but when it comes to my clients my main goal is for them to walk away being thrilled with their hair and feeling good about themselves.

When I’m not in the salon I perform and teach with FatChanceBellyDance, an American Tribal Style belly dance troupe based in San Francisco. We perform all around the Bay Area as well as nationally and internationally. I also enjoy spending time with my furry kids...my chow/shepherd mix Ruby, and my 2 cats Sophie and Harley.
